Job Description :

As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors. The successful candidate will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers .

Day to day task involves :

  • Procurement & Materials Management  .
  • Manufacturing Costing & Costing of final Product  .
  • Preparing Cost Comparison Statement  .
  • Purchase Order Processing, Goods Receipt Note  .
  • Vendor Development, Vendor Selection and Vendor Rating  .
  • Expenditure Budgetary Control  .
  • Supply Chain Management – Transportation and Local Carting Arrangement  .
  • Stores & Materials Management, Material Rejection Process  .
  • Consumption Pattern – Study & Control  .
  • Implementation of departmental policies  .
  • General Administration of Store .
  • Control on loss or damage , theft of products .
  • Management of packing of food products ( staple food ) .
  • Maintain balance between demand of customer and supply at store .
  • Sound buying skills\and proper knowledge of FMCG market .
  • Maintenance of expire product .

Requirements :

  • Must have experience of 2 – 4 year in FMCG store .
  • Graduation degree is required .
  • Someone who is energetic, eager to learn and quick to adapt to constantly changing situations, with Interpersonal and team work skills.
